Formula II Skin Care Cream is different from other creams on the market because it combines the benefits of a moisturizer and a barrier cream into one product.

Why is it important to have both components in one product?

For Dry Skin: Formula II uses a high percentage of mineral oil that helps to quickly moisturize the skin. With three waxes acting as a barrier, Formula II also works to conserve your body's natural moisture and protect your skin.

For Infants and the Elderly: Both infants and the elderly tend to have dry skin. For infants, both diaper rash and eczema can result in dry skin while the elderly often suffer because of incontinence care and/or bed sores resulting from inactivity. Many caregivers use a zinc oxide product for both age groups which works well as a barrier but is a drying agent that results in dry skin. Formula II provides the barrier offered by zinc oxide without the drying effect that it may cause.
